The Laurels

The original front door and frame were rotten and were replaced with a new door and light above, which matched almost exactly the original and incorporated the original handle and lock with new hinges, security lock and letterbox.

The vestibule floor was protected and then cleaned and repaired by the stone / tile specialist.

The vestibule to hall stained glass door and doorway were taken down and rebuilt, at the transition from the old vestibule floor to the new marble floor.

All the facings were repaired or replaced to match and the hall was lined with a new dado panel.

The flashings to the doorway gablet were repaired and replaced and the leak damaged timbers replaced or treated insitu.
